Tonna Brown

Growing up in the military community, I understand firsthand the challenges of family separation and transitioning into new environments. These experiences taught me how to work with people from multiple backgrounds and appreciate that every person deals with personal challenges while adding value to a team.

I recognize and understand the importance of navigating community resources, advocating for the needs of others, and serving on committees charged with navigating towards progress and positive growth. Prior to completing my MSW with a concentration in military social work, I worked as a practice manager and EAP case manager/specialist for six years.
