We believe that everybody should be able to afford quality mental health care.

That's why we offer a wide range of payment options, including discounted self-pay rates and even pro bono services.

Insurance

Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:


  • Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
  • What is my deductible and has it been met?
  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
  • What is my copay per therapy session?
  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?


Not all of our therapists accept all insurances.

Our reception & billing staff will assist you in connecting with the best therapist for your situation.

Self-Pay Options

Standard Cash Rates

Intake (initial appointment).....$210.00

60-minute session...................$160.00


We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards.

Standard Cash Rates

For clients who don't have the option to use insurance or pay our standard cash rate, we offer a sliding scale system which sets fees based on income and size of household. 


Sliding scale fees range from $5 to $95 per session, depending on your circumstances. Call us today to learn more.

Student Intern Program

Our interns are working to complete their master's degrees on their road to becoming fully licensed counselors and therapists. Interns provide services in teams and are supervised by our fully licensed supervisors.


Clients who see our interns are charged minimal administrative fees, scaled to their annual household income:


$0-20,000..........................$5.00/hr

$20,000 - 40,000...............$15.00/hr

$41,000 +..........................$30.00/hr

Cancellation Policy

If you do not attend your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, Thrive reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of up to $40, not to exceed your normal rate for a one-hour session. Exceptions may be made in the event of an emergency.
