Nichole Surber is a licensed clinical mental health counselor associate. She received her MA in Clinical mental Health Counseling from Liberty University, and she has been practicing with clients since May of 2023. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor with specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR). As a trauma-informed, cognitive behavioral counselor, she works with individuals, couples, and families facing a variety of issues such as boundary establishment, adjustment challenges, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and complex trauma.

Previously, Nichole worked 8 years at a private university in student development serving both as the Director of Student Life and as an adjunct educator in intercultural studies and small groups. She traversed 42 countries over 7 continents both as a team leader and in independent exploration. This experience as afford her a broadened understanding and appreciation of human development and cultural diversity. She now spends her time away from the counseling office home educating her three children and working for Thrive Training & Publications.
