TBD
I enjoy working with families, couples, adults, children, and teens. Some populations I serve include: military, law enforcement, first responders, LGBTQ+, non-traditional families, and more. I graduated from Georgia Southern University for my undergrad in 2018. Then, I obtained my Master's of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in military families at National University in 2024. I completed my internship here at Thrive and have been with the company since 2023.
As a military spouse, it is a passion of mine to work with military families as I understand the challenges associated with military life. As a prior ABA therapist, I also enjoy working with individuals who are neurodiverse and their families. I believe it is important to include the family as needed when working with clients to foster understanding and introduce practices that can help the client both inside and outside of the therapy room. Additionally, I am trained in EMDR therapy making me a trauma-informed therapist. Based on my experiences, I have developed a mindset that focuses on empowering my clients to embrace their independence and their ability to achieve their goals.
