Fort Liberty is a military installation of the United States Army in North Carolina. It is one of the largest military installations in the world with about 54,000 people. Fort Liberty is located within Cumberland, Hoke, Harnett, and Moore counties. It covers over 250 square miles, almost entirely land. It is the home of the Army’s XVIII Airborne Corps and is the headquarters of the United States Army Special Operations Command.
Troops stationed at Fort Liberty are often under a lot of stress. They could be in constant training, coming back from combat where they have experienced horrible things. This can cause stress, depression, and many other things. Thankfully, therapy is a helpful tool to help military personnel that are experiencing issues. It has become easily accessible and private as well with the rapid adoption and acceptance of online therapy.
At Thrive Counseling & Consulting, PLCC we understand that being in the military is not easy. You can spend months away from your family, you can see horrible things in combat, and you are under constant pressure. This may lead to marital problems, depression, PTSD, and many other things. Our military counselor has years of experience in helping people through these issues. Whether you’re looking for PTSD therapy or marriage counseling, we have a safe and comfortable environment to receive support from a trusted therapist. We know that seeing a military counselor may feel overwhelming, which is why we offer virtual therapy services.
